I feel as though I don't have very much to say these days. I've been going to school, taking pictures and busting my butt with marketing. Who knew marketing a business could be so difficult? At any rate, I'm excited to have the ball rolling and I'm pleased to learn that my website is finally generating interest. Let's hope the hard work pays off!
In an effort to get myself back together after a long and lazy winter, I've joined the gym! Yep. You read right. I've been hitting the treadmill and the weights, and I've lost 7 pounds so far. I couldn't have done it without the support of my family (including members of my church family, who have helped make it possible for me to go) and with the help of my Lord too.
When I don't spend time with Him, I realize that I try to get my satisfaction elsewhere. I get selfish. "I'M going to eat this because I want to." and "I'M going to stay home from the gym because I'M tired." and "I'M going to do my homework later because I need a break." A break from what? A break from snacking and not going to the gym?
It sounds so silly, and it is! I'm trying to find satisfaction on a superficial level, when really I need to be satisfying the craving that is coming from deep down: a desire to feel connected to my Lord and Saviour who shows me what to eat and how hard to work out-- who gives me energy to do the things I should do, the motivation and the clarity of mind to make wise choices.
The days that I give Him my attention and decide to follow his lead are the days when I get up early, eat a good breakfast, work out and feel energized to take on the rest of my day. Let that be an encouragement to anybody else who is feeling cloudy, run down and unmotivated. Just crack open that Book and spend time in His company. Ask for His help.

That's great Les! I am so happy for you! I wish I could join a gym right now but we don't have the $$ to do it. But we are going to be hiking Mt. Pelion in Trenton everyday for the next four weeks in prep for the Canyon!

2. I love your website!!
3. Yup, Jesus.
