Montreal is a beautiful place. It isn't as intimidating as I remember it to be from my last visit. We stopped off at a friends house to leave our bags, and went up to the Tam-Tam on Mount Royal. It was a beautiful park with hundreds of people sprawled out all over the grass, with hundereds of other people playing drums in huge gatherings. We chilled out in the shade, walked around to listen to the music and then headed back to Will's for dinner. After hanging out there for a while, we grabbed our sleeping bags and walked back up to Mount Royal and found a place in the wooded area of the park so we could sleep without the homeless people coming up to us. It was pretty sketchy, and I don't think I'd do it again, but it was a crazy experience.
