SEPTEMBER 8th: Moncton NB
Moncton served as a stop-over to rest and relax -- we saw nothing but I feel refreshed. We got in at 8:00pm and called the YMCA to see if they'd let us shower. The plan was to hitch a ride out to the Y because it sat a fair distance outside of the city centre. As we started toward the road and got our thumbs out, a man on his porch called out to us. God provided yet again! Our bags were tossed into his 1969 convertable and he drove us to the YMCA where we enjoyed amazing showers. After our showers we were making small-talk in the lobby with the people at the front desk, and one of them offered us her lawn to pitch our tent. She also let us lock our bags away in her house so that we could rest safely and not worry about our things. It was a sweet deal.
