I drove very slowly home from work today-- with visability stretching as far as half a city block. Winter driving used to be frightening, but it's funny how calm I am.. I guess reasoning kicks in. God's using me for something, so He won't let me die in a snowy car crash-- so long as I exercise common sense.
God is bigger than the boogie man. He's bigger than Godzilla or the monsters on TV..
Oh, God is bigger than the boogie man and He's watching out for you and me.
It's pretty darn cold. -7 C.. or 19.4 F to be exact.. In only a few hours the heavens opened and dumped a foot and a half of powderfy white stuff, and then had some fun blowing it around at 80km/h on the wind for the rest of the day. What does this mean to me? SCHOOLS CLOSED, ROADS CLOSED, PEOPLE SENT HOME FROM WORK... except for me. They always give the postman honourable mention for being out on the front lines through rain, snow, sleet and hail. The nanny is under-appreciated if you ask me. Front lines? I'll show you front lines! Poopie butts, tantrums, running at highspeed after a little person with a can-opener he shouldn't have.. and getting into the car at 6:15am each morning to arrive on time for this magical experience..
Not that I'm complaining.

Ah...There's no place like home.
I'm not sure what the reason is, but hearing about this snowstorm is making me homesick.
