Little things that make me smile

It may sound silly... But in gmail when you go to your spam folder you can click "select all" and then "delete". As soon as you do this, the window refreshes and it says "Hooray! No spam here!" Every time without fail, it makes me smile.

i love the Spam recipe's that appear on the bar on top:

"Spam Confetti Pasta - Preparation time 30 minutes......Spam Vegetable Strudel - Bake 20 minutes or until golden, serve with soy sauce"

and there are real recipes at the end of every link!

This is one of the geniuses of modern design. My cell phone, my car, and my laptop all give me a small smile every day.

Materialism is not the route to happiness. But if designers can add something to simple that gives you a little bit of a lift, I think that's wonderful. This is a great time to be alive.
