X Canada.. oh sh*t.

Having been swallowed into the black-hole that is camp Presqu'ile, I was able to forget about informing many of my friends and family of my plans for the fall. Now on the eve of my adventure I may as well let you know -- I'm leaving tomorrow morning to travel across Canada.. there, I said it. That's it. Somehow in the craziness of the past few days I managed to enjoy quality time with people I care about, which is always nice. My send-off was a wonderful afternoon spent with the Dzenises..es.., a guitar and a bottle of red wine. Snoozing in the sun on a blanket in my backyard was the perfect end to the summer and this stage of my journey. Into the next chapter I go with a stomach full of butterflies and a mind wreeling with thoughts of every colour. It is my intention for thoughts and experiences to trickle onto this page whenever the opportunity comes about. Tomorrow it's Ottawa, after that it's Montreal, the east coast, and who knows where. The plan is to work our way to vancouver where we say goodbye to a travelmate and continue on the last 20 days hopefully in northern canada. We'll see what the weather, our bodies and our spirits allow. Prayer would be wonderful, or if you're not a pray'er.. then.... positive vibes.. Please! :) I'll keep you all in my thoughts and look forward to seeing you in october/november. Tah!
