... Emily said as we made dinner together tonight-- and the word she was looking for was bacteria. THEN we began a rather amusing conversation:
Emily: When I'm a grown up will you be dead?
Me: I'll be alive for a while once you're a grown up. Why do you ask?
Emily: Because I want you to babysit my kids when I have some.
Me: Shouldn't it be the other way around and you look after mine?
Emily: Do you have kids?
Me: Nope. Maybe someday. I need to get married first.
Emily: Do you have a boyfriend?
Me: Not right now.
Emily: Well, why not?!
I am now two weeks into nanny-hood. To recap: Emily (7), Jareb (5), and the twins-- Sarah and Robert (2). I finally have their car-seats at my disposal, so this week will mark the first that we can venture into the outside world. Our first stop was the park.
Yep. I am living the dream.

CUTE! although i am familiar with the terrors and horrors of nanny-hood. i feel sorry for you. nannying was what made me not want to have children.
I think it all depends on your outlook on raising kids. Skinner made a prototype called a 'Baby Box' which was supposed to care for all of a baby's needs automatically, without any need for human interaction. I think that man had the right idea.
i love kids...and their cute! Id be a nanny but im too lazy to look for a job. You should ask them if they want me to help, then i can move to canada with you!!
