Christmas Trees and Dave Matthews

It's that time of year again. We decorated the tree tonight. We sat down with squares of paper and wrote different ways we've been blessed by God/our favorite verses on each.. THEN we folded the papers in 4 so you can't see what's inside and we tucked them into the tree. It was great.

In other news I thoroughly enjoyed Dave Matthews Band in concert on Sunday night. I love them even more now that I've seen the band live. Every time Carter (the drummer) flashed on the big screen, he had this huge smile across his face. You could tell he was happy and thankful to be there-- He was totally in it to enjoy the experience. If they ever come to a city near you, SEE THEM.

Musicians who actually dig their music. It's always inspiring.

that's a really stellar idea about writting the blessings out...it would be sweet to hang them on the tree...
